Position

Commercial Gas Engineer (Dartford) – HVAC Engineer (gas bias) to join one of the country's leading facilities management companies working in the Dartford and surrounding area.

The role will involve traveling around the Hampshire region servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant.

Salary: £50,000 (inclusive of standby) paid travel time, overtime, call out, 33 days holiday, pension & excellent benefits including private health care and life insurance.

Hours: 45 hours a week – Monday to Friday. Standby / Call Out: 1 in 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.
  • First line in all maintenance throughout allocated sites.
  • Ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.
  • Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g., boilers, fans, pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s, etc.
  • Safe working practices in relation to 3 phase and single‑phase electrics and applications.
  • Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by management.
Essential Qualifications / Experience
  • ACS Gas – COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A.
Desirable but Not Essential
  • City & Guilds 2079 F‑Gas Category 1.
  • City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has worked in a similar mobile role travelling around the region from home.
  • Can deal directly with customers and on‑site management teams.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Hands‑on, can‑do and flexible approach to work.
  • Full driving licence, as this is a mobile role.
