Job Overview

We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer, to work for a well-established property maintenance contractor, covering Newport and the surrounding areas. This really is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward-thinking organisation that offers unmatched training programmes and great financial incentives.

The position has working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. A van and fuel card will be supplied from the first day.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work in compliance with industry standards and Approved Codes of Practice
  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs within set timescales
  • Install new heating systems and improvements
  • Ensure timely completion of all work and report any exceptions
  • Work in various sectors, including schools, residential, and commercial properties
Qualifications
  • Approved City & Guilds/CITB/ACS qualifications (Commercial preferred; experienced Domestic qualified Engineers considered)
  • Commercial Gas/Safety qualifications
  • Unvented hot water experience
