Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager for a contract until March 2027 (Inside IR35). This remote role supports a major commercial finance function, providing financial insight, supplier risk assessment, and strategic advice across large public sector contracts.

You will partner with commercial teams and senior stakeholders to drive value for money, assess supplier viability, and challenge cost submissions to enable informed decisions and robust governance.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Commercial teams and senior stakeholders to provide financial support during supplier negotiations and contract changes.
• Review, analyse and challenge supplier cost submissions to ensure value for money.
• Support the financial assessment of suppliers, including financial viability and risk reviews.
• Conduct ratio analysis, trend analysis and financial health assessments using supplier accounts and statements.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic commercial decision-making.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks in major outsourced contracts.
• Support governance processes, approvals and commercial assurance activities.
• Interpret supplier financial information and communicate findings clearly to finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Assist in managing high-value contracts to ensure financial risks are understood and controlled.
• Support compliance with Outsourcing Playbook principles and governance.
