Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance & Commercial in Milton Keynes to own the finance function and influence business strategy. You will run monthly management accounts, budgeting and cash flow, while providing commercial insight to support growth and decisions.

You will partner with the MD, oversee finance operations, develop KPIs and implement AI-enabled reporting and automation to improve profitability and scaling. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Experience as Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or senior finance manager with commercial focus.
• Strong management accounting and commercial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and meaningful financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to the MD.
• Monitor revenue, margins, profitability, costs and working capital.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and reporting to improve visibility.
• Support pricing, investment and wider commercial decisions.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll and core finance processes.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance.
• Manage relationships with external accountants and advisers.
• Improve finance processes and automation.
