The University of Strathclyde is seeking an experienced and highly capable Commercial Finance & Business Systems Manager to play a pivotal role within Campus Services Directorate. Campus Services include Catering, Accommodation Services, Strathclyde Sport and Ross Priory Hotel. This role is integral to driving excellence and operational efficiency across the University’s commercial operations.
The successful candidate will provide management and direction to a dedicated team responsible for financial management, IT and data stewardship, and comprehensive business support. The remit spans a diverse portfolio and ensures robust and high-quality service delivery.
Reporting directly to the Head of Service and maintaining a close partnership with the Finance Department, you will deliver sound financial oversight, analytical insight, and assurance across complex income streams, substantial budgets, and vital business systems.
Your responsibilities will include collaboration with the University’s IT and Information Systems Departments to ensure business systems are fit-for-purpose and deliver accurate, timely information. Additionally, you will oversee office administration within the department, to provide exceptional support to operational teams and senior management to enable effective and efficient departmental performance.
