Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts and financial models to support planning and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models for reporting.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, identifying trends, risks and drivers for senior leadership.
• Produce dashboards and KPI reporting for visibility of performance.
• Collaborate with divisional finance, business development and operations teams to explain financial impact.
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital insights.
• Identify FP&A process improvements, leveraging automation and best practices.
• Support investor reporting with accurate financial information.

Job description

With the business preparing for a potential PE exit within the next 12-18 months, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to gain valuable exposure to a significant period of business transformation and growth.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with previous FP&A experience, alongside advanced Excel, data manipulation and financial modelling skills. You will be proactive, analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to work at pace and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts and financial models to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Develop, enhance and maintain robust and flexible Excel-based financial models.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks and performance drivers to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Produce and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting to provide clear visibility of business performance.
• Work closely with divisional finance, business development and operational teams to understand key commercial drivers and their financial impact.
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential risks, opportunities and business outcomes.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and analyse working capital movements to support effective financial management.
• Identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, utilising automation and best practice to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Support investor reporting requirements through the preparation of accurate, timely and commercially relevant financial information.
• Assist with the ongoing development of the financial consolidation system, including creating new reports and enhancing existing reporting capabilities.
