Job summary

Ethero is seeking a Commercial Equipment Cleaner for a temporary role in Marchington. You will work on cleaning equipment, ensuring units are clean and ready for hire, while following health and safety procedures.

The role involves moving equipment between goods-in and the cleaning bay, performing tests and assisting the warehouse team. Candidate requirements include physical capability for manual handling, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, teamwork, and a working level of English.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment to the required standard.
• Return units cleaned and ready for hire.
• Test equipment and conduct PAT tests.
• Escalate equipment that fails testing to Engineering/Refurb team.
• Keep working area clean and stocked; assist with moving equipment from goods-in to cleaning bay.
• Support wider warehouse team when required.

Commercial Equipment Cleaner

Temporary role

Key Duties:

This role works directly on cleaning equipment, working closely with the team to ensure that returned units are cleaned and ready for hire. Key responsibilities include:

• Keeping your working area clean and stocked and ready to work

• Following health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you

• Assisting with moving equipment from goods-in to cleaning bay

• Cleaning equipment to the required standard

• Testing equipment and conducting Pat test

• Escalating equipment which fails testing to Engineering and Refurb team

• Supporting wider warehouse team when required

Pay:

£13.64 per hour

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Full details of the role, assignment, pay, and any applicable terms will be provided before you agree to proceed. Where required, a Key Information Document will be issued before engagement.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday

08:00-16:30

Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid
