Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for an ongoing contract in Sutton, South London. You will perform first and second fix electrical work, containment, and final power connections across commercial self-storage units, adhering to strict health & safety guidelines.

The role requires an ECS/JIB Gold Card, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition, plus PPE and 110V cordless tools. Start ASAP with potential extension beyond year end.

Qualifications

• Valid ECS / JIB Gold Card (Electrician or Approved Electrician status essential).
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation & 18th Edition (BS7671).
• Full PPE and commercial hand/power tools (including 110V/cordless kit).
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• First and second fix electrical installations across commercial self-storage units.
• Containment installation, including trunking, cable tray work, and conduit.
• Wiring, lighting grid installations, power systems, and final connections.
• Testing and commissioning where applicable, maintaining 18th Edition standards.
