Job summary
Cardo Group is hiring an Electrician to join the Cardiff projects team to install extractor fans, perform electrical repairs, and upgrade systems across commercial projects. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 experience, with a full UK driving licence.
Expect strict adherence to health and safety and collaboration with on-site teams. You will work on lighting, power, distribution boards, heating, and fire alarm systems,
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) knowledge is essential.
- City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical repairs, installations, and system upgrades in commercial properties.
- Install and maintain electrical systems including extractor fans, lighting, sockets, distribution boards, heating and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all electrical work meets current regulations and industry standards for full compliance.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other trades, contractors, and site staff for smooth project execution.
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach on-site.
