Job summary

Bee Group (Yorkshire) Limited in Liversedge is seeking a full-time Commercial Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. You will work on distribution boards, lighting, power circuits and control systems, reading technical drawings and performing first and second fix installations.

This role includes EV charging infrastructure support, fire alarms, emergency lighting, solar PV and security solutions, with a focus on safety,

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electricity principles for commercial installations.
• Proven experience in installation, wiring and commissioning of commercial/industrial systems.
• Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in commercial settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults safely using testing tools.
• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and fully qualified electrician.
• Current BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations); 18th Edition qualification preferred.
• Experience with EV charging, fire alarms, emergency lighting, solar PV, and security systems is beneficial.
• Valid ECS/CSCS card and full UK driving licence; willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and perform first and second fix installations.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and diagnose electrical faults.
• Support EV charging infrastructure, fire alarms, emergency lighting, solar PV and security systems.
• Complete testing and inspection documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a safe working environment on all sites and coordinate with project teams.
