Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications – NVQ Level 3 minimum (18th Edition preferred).
• Experience installing electrical systems such as ANPR, CCTV, or smart parking equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking, IP cameras, and system integration.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away as required.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Exceptional organisation and reporting skills using MS Office/365.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements.
• Configure and calibrate electrical systems for performance.

Commercial Electrician | Location: Field-Based – Midlands (National coverage with flexibility to attend sites and HQ)
Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) + Company Van + Tools + Pension + Benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with flexibility for weekends/overnight stays)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation of ANPR systems, cameras, barriers, kiosks, and associated hardware. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a safety-first approach. You will ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards, meeting compliance and client expectations.

• Carry out installations of ANPR systems, cameras, barriers, kiosks, and associated hardware.
• Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements.
• Configure and calibrate electrical and electronic systems for optimal performance.
• Ensure all installations meet health and safety standards and technical specifications.
• Liaise with clients, site contacts, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain accurate installation records, including photos, reports, and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after installation.
• Maintain tools, PPE, and vehicle readiness for field operations.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Electrical qualifications – NVQ Level 3 minimum (18th Edition preferred).
• Experience installing electrical systems such as ANPR, CCTV, or smart parking equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking, IP cameras, and system integration.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away as required.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Exceptional organisation and reporting skills using MS Office/365.

Desirable:

• Civils or groundworks knowledge (e.g., ducting, trenching, reinstatement).
• CSCS/ECS, IPAF, IOSH/NEBOSH or similar certification.
• Previous experience working in commercial/field-based installation roles.
