A leading law firm in Bristol is seeking an experienced Commercial Dispute Resolution Partner. You will lead a department and advise clients on various contentious matters. Ideal candidates are qualified lawyers with circa 8PQE in commercial litigation. This role emphasizes strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with circa 8PQE in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, or insolvency.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes.
  • Handle professional negligence claims and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
  • Manage corporate and personal insolvency and restructuring issues.
  • Lead property litigation cases including recovery of rent arrears.
  • Address complex cross-border disputes with multi-jurisdictional elements.

Commercial Dispute Resolution Partner
BRISTOL

I'm keen to speak to ambitious, experienced commercial dispute resolution lawyers who are keen to step into a Partner role or a role that has a clear path to Partnership, where you will lead the department in the Bristol office.

About the Role

You’ll advise clients across a wide variety of contentious commercial matters, including :

  • Contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, and professional negligence claims
  • Enforcement of restrictive covenants and urgent injunction proceedings
  • Corporate and personal insolvency and restructuring issues
  • Property litigation, including recovery of rent arrears, lease renewals, break notices, dilapidations, and forfeiture
  • Complex cross-border disputes, often with multi-jurisdictional elements
About You
  • Qualified lawyer with circa 8PQE in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, or insolvency
  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset
  • Brings a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
