Job summary

A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate in Commercial Disputes located in Cambridge with a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) and be adept at advising clients on a range of commercial contract disputes. Responsibilities include preparing complex settlement agreements, working on litigation matters, and actively participating in business development. Qualifications

Role
  • Advise a wide range of clients on commercial contract disputes including sale of business, shareholder and boardroom partnership, and joint venture restrictive covenants, confidentiality obligations, asset recovery and injunctions
  • Prepare and negotiate high‑value and complex settlement agreements
  • Work on litigation matters from pre‑action through to trial, alternative dispute resolution and mediation
  • Play an active role in business development
You
  • 1‑4 years PQE
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and associated arbitration rules such as ICC / CIA
  • Experience of sports‑related regulations an advantage but not required
