Due to expansion plans our client is looking to recruit an accomplished and strategic Commercial Director to lead the financial and commercial performance of their Midlands operations. This key leadership role involves driving profitability, ensuring commercial governance, and fostering long-term sustainability across a diverse portfolio of planned works and repairs & maintenance contracts. As the Commercial Director, you will be instrumental in shaping the regional commercial strategy and ensuring that the organisation's operational delivery aligns with both financial objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the broader objectives of the organisation and enhances profitability.
  • Financial Performance Management: Drive financial performance across all contracts, including budget management, cost control, and profit optimisation.
  • Analyse market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board, providing insights on performance metrics and forecasting.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and social housing providers, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, effectively communicating value propositions and fostering collaboration.
