A leading engineering group within the mobile hydraulics sector is seeking a Commercial Director to drive its defence market strategy.

This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercially savvy leader with deep technical understanding of mobile hydraulic systems and a proven track record selling into the defence ecosystem (MoD, primes, vehicle OEMs, integrators).

What You'll Lead
  • Own and execute the commercial strategy for defence applications
  • Build senior relationships across defence OEMs, primes & procurement chains
  • Identify, shape & win new military vehicle and support system programmes
  • Lead high-value bids, proposals & contract negotiations
  • Guide technical positioning of mobile hydraulic solutions to defence standards
  • Represent the business at key defence forums and industry events
What You'll Bring
  • Senior commercial or business development background in defence engineering
  • Strong technical literacy in mobile hydraulics / electro-hydraulics
  • Experience working with MoD supply chains, primes or military vehicle OEMs
  • Confidence operating at C-suite / programme leadership level
