Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and agree contractual terms and conditions, collate and justify costs supporting submarine programmes, create future work estimates and manage contractual change.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Project Management, Legal, Supply Chain, Operations and Manufacturing to understand their roles and commercial considerations.
  • Gain an excellent understanding of the Submarines business and how it operates.
  • Build knowledge of the contractual elements needed to support the business, including risks and opportunities across programmes.
Qualifications
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9‑4 / A‑C, including Maths & English.
  • 96 UCAS Points (or equivalent) (excluding points gained at AS level).

Our Submarines business has been delivering world‑class submarines to the Royal Navy for more than a century. We are responsible for the design, build, test and commissioning of the Astute and Dreadnought classes.
