A leading energy utility company is seeking a Commercial and Contracts Manager in Edinburgh. This role focuses on managing multi-billion pound projects, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring contractual compliance. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in construction contracts and legal management. The position offers a competitive salary, annual bonus, and hybrid working flexibility.
Salary up to £86,500 per annum (D.O.E) plus up to 20% annual bonus, car allowance (£450pcm) and family healthcare cover.

SP Energy Networks (SPEN) will be delivering over £10 bn of investment in the GB electricity grid over the next 5 years. A significant proportion of this investment is associated with Eastern Green Link 4 (EGL4) which is high voltage direct current (HVDC) links between Scotland and England - EGL4 links Westfield (Scotland) and Walpole (England). This project is being delivered in partnership with National Grid Energy Networks and will enable the transmission of up to 4GW of electricity, enough to power over 4milion homes.
The Commercial and Contract Manager will work as part of a skilled multi-disciplinary contract and commercial (C&C) team to deliver these multi billion pound projects. They are responsible for and control the main contractual interface with the principal contractors, interfacing with Delivery, Engineering, SHES, Finance, legal and Commercial workstreams, along with interfacing into directorates within SPEN and NGET.
The positions may require frequent travel to various locations in the UK and occasional travel within Europe. The individual should be prepared to manage teams working at different project locations.
