Job summary

Vital Energi Utilities Ltd is seeking a Commercial Executive to support the financial management of O&M contracts and assist with procurement, sub-contractor accounts and variation accounts. You will work with Contracts Managers and Engineers, supporting the transition to 4PS and contributing to contract profitability.

The role is based at our Blackburn head office on a 6 month fixed term contract, with responsibilities across monthly cost/value reconciliations, client payments and commercial

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths & English or equivalent.
• NVQ 3 or higher education in related field.
• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vet contract documentation for client compatibility and tender terms.
• Prepare and issue enquiries for Plant, Materials and Sub-Contract packages; negotiate terms and issue Purchase Orders.
• Prepare and submit Applications for Payment and invoices; chase payments in line with contracts.
