Job summary

Staines Search is seeking a commercially minded Legal Executive to support the drafting, review and negotiation of a high volume of commercial contracts while helping manage compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Law degree (essential).
• Experience in Commercial Contracts.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial contracts.
• Confident negotiating contractual clauses with clients and external legal teams.
• Strong understanding of contractual risk and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Identifying legal and commercial risks and providing practical recommendations.
• Negotiating contract terms directly with clients, suppliers and legal representatives.
• Managing contract amendments, renewals and variations.
• Supporting compliance activities and helping maintain internal policies and procedures.
• Assisting with governance and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and contract documentation.
• Working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure contractual obligations are met.
