Job summary

System C in Liverpool, United Kingdom, is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our collaborative legal team. You will support commercial growth, manage contractual risk, and contribute to corporate matters.

You will work with business units, lead and support contract negotiations, advise on contract lifecycle, data protection, IP, governance, and provide training to bid teams. This is a hybrid role with two days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Exposure to technology licensing, SaaS, data protection environments.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Lead and support customer contract negotiations and contract formation activities.
Advise on contract management throughout the contract lifecycle.
Drafting and negotiating contract amendments, renewals and variations.
Support procurement, tendering and commercial activities.
Lead and support supplier and business partner contracting.
Provide advice on governance, IP, employment matters and corporate affairs.
Assist with data protection and information governance matters.
Deliver training to commercial and bid teams.
Support the General Counsel on strategic legal matters.
