Job summary

allpay Limited is seeking a newly qualified Legal Advisor to join our Legal team and provide practical, commercially focused legal support across the allpay Group. You will work with Commercial & Contracts and Compliance teams on a wide range of governance, regulatory and operational matters.

You'll be encouraged to own your work, build relationships with stakeholders, and develop your legal expertise in a regulated payments environment, with support for more complex matters as you grow.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in commercial and contract law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing or supporting commercial contracts.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and balance risk with commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and NDAs.
• Support contract negotiations and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
• Identify legal risks and escalate complex matters.
• Support business projects with timely legal input.
• Assist with regulatory change activities and governance projects.
• Support data protection and information governance matters.
• Assist with disputes, complaints and external legal advice.
• Maintain legal templates, records and knowledge resources.
• Contribute to training and legal awareness initiatives across the business.
