Overview

About the Role: We're looking for an experienced Commercial Catering and Laundry Equipment Engineer to join our growing service team, providing maintenance, repair, and installation support across a range of catering and laundry equipment within the Anglia region. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality technical service to a diverse client base including hotels, schools, care homes, restaurants, and commercial kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of commercial catering and laundry equipment (gas and electrical).
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and emergency callouts.
• Diagnose faults accurately and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Installation and commissioning of new catering and laundry equipment.
• Maintain accurate service reports and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on all client sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial catering and/or laundry equipment engineer.
• COMCAT qualifications (1, 2, 3, 5) or equivalent essential.
• Electrical knowledge (17th/18th Edition or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Experience working with major brands of commercial catering and laundry appliances.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
