Commercial Catering Engineer

Join our clients expanding team as Commercial Catering Engineer. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our Repairs & Maintenance Managers by delivering top-quality commercial catering maintenance and repairs contracts. This position is ideal for someone with specialist technical expertise in commercial catering, gained through working in various sectors including schools, universities, MoD sites, factories, and public sector buildings.

£37,000 – £42,000 / annum

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake commercial catering repairs, maintenance, and installations ensuring work is planned and delivered safely, to the highest quality, and within given timeframes.
• Represent the company positively and professionally.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Complete necessary paperwork and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain client asset information accurately.

Requirements (Essential)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial catering role.
• Commercial Gas COMCATS and Laundry certification.
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 Heating and Ventilation or Commercial Plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and M&E industry standards.
• Computer literate with CRM skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Domestic Gas (CCN1) certification.
• IOSH / SMSTS or equivalent.
• IPAF & PASMA certification.
• Experience with renewable technologies.

Employment Prerequisites

• Accreditation checks (including Gas Certificates).
• DBS / NPPV Level 2 checks.
• Professional references.
