Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, or similar.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis skills (advanced Excel essential).
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded.

We are seeking a Commercial Business Partner to join a fast-growing technology business based in Exeter. This hybrid role combines commercial insight, financial oversight, and performance management to help drive revenue growth and support strategic decision-making.

About the Role:

The Commercial Business Partner will act as a key business partner to Sales and Finance teams, ensuring revenue growth is aligned with strategy and risk is managed effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to shape pricing strategies, monitor margins, deliver reporting and analytics, and drive process improvements. This role also involves ownership of CRM governance and sales process discipline to ensure accurate customer and pipeline data.

This is a full‑time hybrid position (2–3 days per week in the Exeter area, the rest from home).

Responsibilities of the Commercial Business Partner:
  • Lead and improve sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline analysis

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
