We’re looking for a Commercial Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Aftermarket, Digital, and Supply Chain functions.

Job Description

The Commercial Business Partner position is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders to drive performance, identify opportunities, and influence commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with General Managers and Commercial Business Partners to understand business performance across multiple channels and segments.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Lead monthly performance reviews, prepare detailed reporting packs, and present insights at segment and commercial team meetings.

  • Strategic Planning: Support budget and forecast processes, develop financial solutions to improve profitability, and contribute to long-term planning.

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage key risks across projects and segments, ensuring visibility of dependencies and mitigation strategies.

  • Commercial Support: Provide high-quality financial advice based on a deep understanding of the market, customer segments, and divisional growth drivers.

  • Operational Efficiency: Help maximise asset utilisation, manage inventory and debt, and reduce cost per transaction.

  • Sales & SG&A Analysis: Deliver detailed sales analysis by customer, segment, and product, and support SG&A reviews to identify areas for improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for internal customers and support resolution of disputes and issues.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will need:

  • Qualifications: Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial performance drivers, market dynamics, and strategic levers.

  • Stakeholder Skills: High standard of interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the business.

  • Analytical Mindset: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights to finance and non-finance audiences.

  • Organisation & Delivery: Well-organised, deadline-driven, and capable of managing large volumes of data with precision.

  • Proactive Attitude: Enthusiastic, solutions-focused, and ready to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
