Job summary

G2Legal is assisting a Central London law firm in recruiting a Commercial Associate. You will draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, advise on technology, AI and data protection, and support corporate transactions including M&A.

You will work directly with clients, develop relationships, and contribute to business development. Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE is expected, with strong commercial contracts experience and excellent communication.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Associate to join a highly regarded Central London-based firm. Working closely with experienced senior Lawyers, you'll advise a diverse client base ranging from SMEs and fast-growth businesses to larger commercial organisations.

The Role

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts
• Advise on technology, AI and data protection matters
• Support on corporate transactions, including M&A work
• Work directly with clients and build long-term relationships
• Contribute to business development and networking activities
• Mentor and support a paralegal within the team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years' PQE
• Strong commercial contracts experience
• Knowledge of technology, AI, data privacy and UK GDPR
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable managing client relationships and working in a collaborative team environment
• Experience gained in a City, national, boutique or in-house environment would be beneficial
