Overview

We are recruiting for a Commercial Assistant / Administrator to join a busy maintenance team on a long-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the smooth commercial and administrative operation of maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and commercial support to the maintenance team.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and work orders.
  • Support cost tracking, reporting, and financial administration of maintenance works.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress, variations, and completion certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Help monitor budgets, costs, and profitability alongside the Commercial Manager.
  • General office and administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar commercial or administrative role (preferably within construction, FM, or maintenance).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other business systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
