Job Title: Commercial Assistant

Location: Southend-On-Sea

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30-35K per annum

Overview

Nolan Recruitment are recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to join their growing client based near Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will support the commercial and project delivery teams with financial and administrative tasks, including monthly applications and purchase order management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly applications for payment
  • Create and manage purchase orders, including invoice tracking
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and MS Project plans
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Ensure commercial documentation is accurately filed and tracked
  • Help reconcile supplier accounts and monitor project costs
  • Provide administrative and commercial support to project teams as required
  • Work collaboratively to meet internal and client deadlines
Skills & Experience
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
  • Good understanding of purchase order processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
