Job summary

Macdonald & Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to take ownership of a diverse London portfolio. MRICS-qualified surveyor will have genuine autonomy to shape asset strategy and influence performance across the estate.

You will lead lease events, manage complex negotiations, oversee refurbishment and capex projects, and produce financial insights for investment decisions. A strong London market presence and stakeholding with tenants and advisers is essential.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification and 3–5 years' PQE in commercial asset management.
• Proven background in managing a London commercial portfolio.
• Strong landlord & tenant, leasing and property management experience.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing asset management strategies to maximise income and enhance value.
• Leading lease events including lettings, renewals, rent reviews, regears and surrenders.
• Negotiating heads of terms and managing transactions through to completion.
• Delivering refurbishment, fit-out and capital expenditure projects.
• Producing financial appraisals, valuations and board reports to support investment decisions.
• Building strong relationships with tenants, agents, solicitors and internal stakeholders.
• Managing and developing a small commercial property team.
