Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse retail sales data and generate reports that provide insights on performance across categories and channels
  • Monitor KPIs and conduct variance analysis against forecasts and previous periods
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide data‑driven support for merchandising and promotional strategies
  • Identify and track relevant industry trends to inform future product development and marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the creation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing findings and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for real‑time tracking of business performance
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role within a retail or consumer goods environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a bonus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience using analytical databases (SQL desired) for data manipulation and reporting purposes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
