AI Connect is partnering with a leading UK energy aggregation business to recruit a Commercial Analyst in Edinburgh. You’ll sit within the Product function and work across Commercial, Data, Trading, Operations, Settlements, Product and Account Management.
Your duties include developing performance metrics, building reports, translating contracts into data processes, supporting settlements, and analysing asset health to unlock commercial opportunities while communicating insights clearly.

AI Connect are working with a leading business in the UK’s energy aggregation market that is looking for a Commercial Analyst to join their growing team in Edinburgh.
The business plays a key role in the transition to a more flexible, low-carbon electricity system, working with generators, battery storage and commercial energy users to optimise their assets and unlock new revenue opportunities.
You’ll sit within the Product function and work across Commercial, Data, Trading, Operations, Settlements, Product and Account Management.
Ideally, you’ll have 2+ years' experience in a commercial, analytical, financial or operational role.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python would be highly valuable, alongside strong commercial awareness and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in energy, energy trading, battery storage, asset optimisation or flexibility markets would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
