The Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the estimating and commercial functions of a thriving construction business. Working closely with the Bid Management team, you will assist with tender preparation, pricing, and documentation while supporting broader commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and information
  • Support the use and maintenance of estimating software
  • Manage and update tender documentation and online bid portals
  • Provide administrative support across the estimating and commercial teams
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and project deadlines
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience within estimating, tendering, or commercial administration
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with estimating software (ConQuest)
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • A valid driving license is essential
