Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Commercial Administrator to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract administration within the Commercial Team, providing vital support on commercial matters, and liaising with the supply chain on finance queries. Applicants should have experience in administration within a financial/commercial environment and possess good organizational skills.

We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our team in Edinburgh.

Working as a Commercial Administrator you will be responsible for contract administration within the Commercial Team

What you’ll do:
  • Provide general commercial support to the team, work to deadlines and liaise with supply chain on any invoicing/finance related queries.
  • Use the schedule of rates to price up reactive and small quoted works.
  • Submit client applications in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Review and approve PPM and Reactive applications.
  • Review and approve material and subcontractor invoices.
  • Liaise with Operations, Helpdesk, Engineers and other Commercial team members.
  • Raise PO requisitions on Oracle.
  • Raise receipts on Oracle.
  • To administer the various accrual and prepayment schedules for month end CVR reporting of Revenue and Gross Income.
  • Raise monthly client invoices.
  • Track and report on monthly WIP and Debt movements.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Experience of working in an administration role in a Financial/Commercial environment.
  • Good organisation skills.
  • Experience of working directly with client representatives.
  • Good computer skills including use of Microsoft Office, be at an intermediate level.
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in FM industry would be beneficial.
