Our client is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their busy finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate reporting and analysis that drives decision-making.

About the Role

You will manage financial figures within the ERP system, produce month-end reporting packs and support process improvements across the finance function. This is a hands‑on role that involves liaising with auditors, preparing statutory accounts, contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. The position suits someone with an analytical background who thrives on data‑driven work and enjoys collaborating with commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large data sets to produce insightful analysis for commercial decision-making.
• Maintain and reconcile financial data.
• Prepare month‑end reporting packs and statutory VAT returns.
• Support annual budget and re‑forecast processes.
• Produce analytical reports comparing actual vs planned performance and recommend actions.
• Assist with stock accounting, margin reconciliation and cash flow forecasting.
• Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting.
