Job description

Location: South Park Primary School, Netherton Road, East Kilbride, G75 9DU

Hours: 15 hours per week (7.5 Cleaner post and 7.5 Cleaning Supervisor post) on a term time basis

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 3pm - 4.30pm and 4.30pm - 6pm

Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour (cleaner rate) and £13.64 - £13.79 per hour (supervisor rate).

Responsibilities

• Carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas and walls.
• Monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulation and report any difficult issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as the responsible person on site for reporting health and safety issues.
• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning), including assisting with training, recruitment & selection, maximising attendance and team briefs.
• Ensure the security of the building is maintained and act as a key-holder as required.
