A local authority in Carluke seeks a part-time cleaner/supervisor to manage cleaning operations at Carluke High School. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining standards, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Candidates must be prepared to undergo background checks. Location: Carluke High School, Carnwath Road, Carluke, ML8 4EA.
Hours: 15 hours per week (7.5 hours as supervisor and 7.5 hours as cleaner) on a term‑time basis.
Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 4‑7pm and Friday 1‑4pm.
Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour (cleaner) and £13.64‑£13.79 per hour (supervisor).
Preferred candidates identified after the selection event/process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if needed, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, the candidate may be withdrawn from the position.
Applicants are required to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Check if born outside the UK or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years. The check must be translated into English and include an official statement confirming no criminal record.
