As our Combined Contracts and QS Specialist, you will lead the contract administration and quantity surveying function at our Wyke site, providing commercial oversight across a diverse capital project portfolio. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract terms, validating costs, managing variations, and driving value through effective contractor engagement. Your work will help strengthen Nufarm’s procurement, governance, and commercial processes while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

How You’ll Help Us Grow

  • Administer project contracts, ensuring adherence to commercial terms and governance requirements.
  • Perform quantity take-offs, validate contractor measurements, and certify payment claims.
  • Lead Invitations to Tender (ITT) processes, including evaluation and contractor selection.
  • Oversee cost control, variation management, and contract change control processes.
  • Develop initial cost estimates and budgets for new capital projects.
  • Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date contract documentation and commercial reports.
  • Support dispute avoidance, claims resolution, and performance management of contractors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive best practice in contract management.

Could This Be You?

We’re looking for a commercially driven professional with:

  • A degree or recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven capability in both quantity surveying and contract administration on industrial or manufacturing capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, engineering contract forms (including FIDIC), and commercial governance frameworks.
  • Experience in cost control, estimating, contractor engagement, and procurement processes.
  • Skilled stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • A commitment to proactive risk management, dispute avoidance, and delivering value for investment.
