Job summary

Charles Trent Limited is seeking a skilled Combi Forklift Driver for its Poole operation. You will operate the Combi truck to move vehicles within five car racking systems and load/unload vehicles on site.

This hands-on role requires safety focus, reliability and attention to detail, with rotating weekly shifts from 6:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to midnight at the Poole site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Combi forklift.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, yard, logistics or operational environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety.
• Good awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable, responsible and safety focused.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

COMBI FORKLIFT DRIVER

Location: Poole Site
Department: Operations
Salary: £30,500 + £3,050 Shift Premium
Total Package: £33,550 per annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts, 6:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to midnight

THE ROLE

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Previous Combi forklift experience.
• Relevant forklift certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, yard, logistics or operational environment.

• Comfortable working rotating shifts.

Desirable:

• Automotive or vehicle recycling experience.
• Experience using vehicle racking systems.

SHIFT PATTERN

The role operates on a weekly rotation:

Week 1: 6:00am to 3:00pm
Week 2: 3:00pm to midnight

You must be comfortable working both shift patterns.
