A leading healthcare organization in Coventry is seeking a highly motivated Surgical Care Practitioner in Colorectal Surgery to join their team. Responsibilities include collaborating with consultant surgeons, advocating for patients, and training junior residents. The ideal candidate should provide an immunisation and vaccination report. Qualifications

  • Provide an immunisation and vaccination report from either your current UK occupational health provider or your UK GP.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key part in the wider Colorectal service and work with multiple professional teams to ensure the patient's journey is optimised.
  • Provide excellent communication skills and competently and accurately action recommendations for patients from wider teams.
  • Act as a patient advocate to ensure that patient concerns and needs are heard and acted upon.
  • Support teammates in ward rounds.
  • Support Consultant Surgeons in theatres with delegated consent, patient positioning, first assisting and discharge summaries.
  • Train junior residents.
  • Run Colorectal clinics independently with on-site support (training provided).

We are seeking a highly motivated Surgical Care Practitioner in Colorectal Surgery to join a cohesive group of Consultant Surgeons and resident doctors to deliver high quality care to the Trust and its patients.
