Job summary

Choices College is a supported internship programme designed to help learners with learning difficulties, disabilities or autism become employment ready. You will work with the Area Manager to sustain an employment transition rate above 70% and ensure the programme meets learner, employer, and regulator needs.

The post holder will hold a teaching qualification or have recent SEN experience, be a confident communicator, and be highly organised with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or recent experience supporting SEN learners.
• Willingness to travel essential.
• Confident communicator with strong motivation and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sessions in classroom settings to reinforce employability skills.
• Monitor and record learner progress with the Area Manager.
• Provide bespoke training to mentors and source new placement employers.
