Job Title: College Community Support Officer [Ref: BRTN8354]
Salary: Pro rata of £26,716 to £29,196 per annum (i.e. £22,194.83 - £24,255.14) • 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

Responsibilities
- Provide the first response to incidents across the College site and assist Managers or appropriate College staff to adopt a collaborative problem‑solving approach.
- Implement de‑escalation techniques and restorative justice as part of incident management.
- Act as Safeguarding Officer for assigned cases (in liaison with the Safeguarding team), gathering evidence in relation to incidents and disclosures as per the Safeguarding policy.
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSEs in Maths and English Language, or equivalent, at C/4 grade or above.
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g., Coaching, Health and Social Care, Youth Work).
- Experience of working with young people (including 14–19 year olds) and vulnerable adults and those with challenging behaviour is essential.
