Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring a Collections & Delivery Driver in Tonbridge. This permanent role is 32 hours per week with occasional overtime and typically scheduled Wednesday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Saturday 08:00-16:00.

You will sort parcels, check vehicle safety, and collect and deliver to homes and businesses, providing a friendly, dependable service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with up to 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Friendly, dependable, customer-focused and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
  • Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
  • Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you'll be doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes

What we're looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
