Job summary

Oxford University Museum of Natural History is recruiting a Collections Assistant to support rocks, minerals and fossils. The post combines practical collections care with cataloguing, digitisation and support for access to specimens.

You will image objects, assist with research visits and loans, support volunteers and exhibitions, and contribute to the collections management system. A basic DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with museum collections care and cataloguing.
• Knowledge of geology and mineral specimens is essential.
• Familiarity with imaging and digital cataloguing systems.
