Location: York Delivery Office, YO26 4ZZ
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 20 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sat, 15:00 to 19:00. Weekend work may be required; Saturday hours approximately 9:00am to 13:30pm.

About the role

Join us as a Collections and Network Driver, a vital part of a team responsible for delivering letters and parcels, checking post-boxes, visiting post offices, collecting mail for customers and dropping it into processing centres. Your work ensures that every piece of mail reaches the right place, at the right time, and helps bring a little extra brightness into our customers’ lives.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive secure delivery and collection vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient routes.
  • Check post-boxes, visit post offices, and collect mail from business customers at prearranged times.
  • Drop collected mail at processing centres and sort mailbags to maintain accuracy.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assistance wherever required.

  • Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly, adjusted to working hours).
  • Paid overtime at 1.25x for hours worked over 40 per week.
