Job summary

Stateside Foods Limited is seeking a Coding Line Operative to join our Logistics Department on continental day shifts (10:00 – 22:00). You will rotate shifts weekly and be responsible for coding products, maintaining accurate Best Before dates and upholding GMP, health and safety policies.

The role benefits from experience in warehouse/manufacturing settings and requires a proactive approach with basic numeracy. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration.
• Basic Maths skills and numeracy ability.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model and follow best practice at all times.
• Build effective relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
• Work safely and report safety concerns promptly to Team Leader.
• Maintain housekeeping/GMP standards across areas.
• Complete all reasonable requests as instructed.
• Follow GMP procedures and policies.
• Report machinery or product issues as they arise.
• Palletise and de-palletise products before/after coding and ensure correct Best Before dates are recorded.
• Adhere to the company’s H&S and Hygiene policies.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Coding Line Operative to join our Logistics Department.

The role is working continental day shifts 10.00 - 22.00.

Rotation of shift: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

An overview of the role is detailed below:

• Acting as a role model whilst demonstrating best practice at all times
• Building effective relationships
• Working safely at all times and communicating safety concerns promptly to Team Leader
• Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP in all areas
• To complete all reasonable requests in line with instructions given
• To follow the correct procedure with regards to GMP
• To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
• To palletise and de-palletise before and after products have been coded
• Ensure all product is coded with the correct Best Before dates
• Adhere to the company's H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company's Hygiene policies and procedure

Ideally, candidates will have experience in a warehouse/manufacturing role and will be able to communicate effectively.

Candidates should have a proactive approach and have basic Maths skills.
