Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Coded Welder to join a steam specialist in Halesowen. The role covers boiler retubing, D-patch repairs and coded welding of pipework/vessels, using carbon steel MMA with low hydrogen electrodes, with travel to customer sites as required.

The ideal candidate will have welding experience, hold a welding qualification, be proficient with stick welding, and understand welding diagrams.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience is essential.
• Must hold a recognised qualification in Welding.
• Highly proficient with Stick Welding.
• Able to understand Welding diagrams.
• Experience working with Boilers and Valves.
• Based within a commutable distance of Halesowen.
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Retubing of Boilers.
• Cutting out and completing D-patch repairs.
• Tube plate replacement.
• Coded welding of pipework / vessels.
• Welding is predominantly carbon steel MMA using low hydrogen electrodes.
• Travelling to customer sites as required.
