Job summary

Engel at the Royal Exchange in City of London is seeking a confident Cocktail Waitress to join the front-of-house team. You will welcome guests, deliver polished service, take orders, and develop a strong knowledge of cocktails and food offerings.

The role rewards energy, personality and hospitality in a busy, vibrant setting. £16.27 per hour, Monday–Saturday shifts with Sundays off, based at the Royal Exchange in the heart of the City of London.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Waitress, Waitress or in a similar Front of House role.
• Genuine interest in cocktails, mixology and spirits.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a confident, engaging and passionate Cocktail Waitress to join the team at Engel, our stylish bar and events space located on the Mezzanine of the iconic Royal Exchange in the heart of the City of London.

Engel is all about great drinks, warm hospitality and memorable experiences – and we’re looking for someone who can bring personality, energy and genuine enthusiasm to every service.

As a Cocktail Waitress, you’ll be a key part of our Front of House team, looking after guests from the moment they arrive and delivering friendly, polished and attentive service throughout their experience.

What you’ll be doing

As Cocktail Waitress, you will:

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and understands that exceptional service is about much more than simply taking an order.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Cocktail Waitress, Waitress or in a similar Front of House role within a quality bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• A genuine interest in cocktails, mixology and spirits.
• A warm, confident and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver personalised service.
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to stay organised and composed during busy services.
• A team-focused attitude and willingness to support your colleagues.
• The legal right to work in the UK.

Cocktail and spirits knowledge is a great advantage, but just as important is your enthusiasm to learn and develop.
