Job description

We are seeking a Coach Builder for a manufacturing company, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical skills to work on specialist builds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical and structural fitting on a range of vehicles, including interior and exterior builds and refurbishments.

  • Work with materials such as wood, aluminium, and steel to assemble, fit, and modify vehicle components.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and build instructions to complete fitting tasks to specification.

  • Use a wide range of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, pipe grips, Allen keys, spanners, screwdrivers, and grinders.

  • Perform accurate measurements, cutting, and fitting to ensure a high-quality finish on every build.

Key Requirements:
Experience
    • Vehicle fitting, mechanical assembly, or fabrication work
    • Coach building, bodywork, or interior vehicle fitting
    • Workshop or joinery environments, working with wood, metal, and hand/power tools
  • Confident using a range of mechanical and fitting tools (saws, drills, pipe grips, Allen keys, spanners, etc.)

  • Ability to work from technical drawings and follow precise build instructions
