Job description

Clwyd Special Riding Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Freelance BHS Qualified Riding Coach to join our friendly and dedicated team.

In this rewarding role, you will be coaching both regular and new participants with additional needs, making a real difference by helping them to build confidence, develop skills, and experience the well‑being benefits of horses.

  • Minimum BHS Stage 2 Coach. Or Level 3 Diploma in BHS Riding Horses, Horse Care, and Preliminary Teaching of Horse Riding.
  • Be part of a centre approved by both the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and the British Horse Society (BHS).
  • Work within state‑of‑the‑art accessible facilities supporting people of all ages and needs.
  • Gain varied coaching experience with diverse participants.
  • Develop specialist skills in adapted riding, equine therapy, and inclusive coaching practices.
  • Join a supportive, passionate team dedicated to changing lives through horses.
