Pay Rate: £25,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience)
Grade: RCS O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full‑time)
Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2 pm
Location: Derby – DE74 2BB

We are seeking a Co‑Pack Quality Technician who will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards by performing inspections, maintaining compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across our co‑pack operation.

A typical day may involve
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure customer standards are met and comply with quality systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and support external auditors during inspections.
  • Monitor and calibrate measuring equipment and promptly report any non‑compliance.
  • Drive corrective actions for product quality issues and conduct root‑cause analysis for customer complaints.
  • Promote a clean, safe working environment and assess supplier compliance with quality requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a quality‑focused role (essential); experience in food manufacturing or co‑pack environments is an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage files and records effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and explain methodologies and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to interpret written, spoken, or diagrammatic instructions accurately and possess strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident in engaging with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high standards.
